(January 16, 2026) — Fire Candy Catering & Events announced an exciting evolution of its Coxsackie headquarters today, transitioning the space formerly known as The Cask and Rasher into a dedicated micro-event venue designed to host private celebrations, special events, and curated experiences.

Established in 2016, Fire Candy Catering & Events has built a strong regional presence in the wedding and private events market. As the ways people gather and celebrate continue to evolve, the updated use of the space reflects the company’s strategic focus on experience-driven hospitality, allowing for expanded offerings while maintaining its off-site catering operations throughout the Catskills, Hudson Valley, and Capital Region.

The newly reimagined venue will host rehearsal dinners, showers, birthdays, retirements, and other private gatherings, as well as select ticketed experiences including themed dinners, pop-ups, cooking classes, and live music events. The space will offer a flexible, intimate setting that prioritizes high-quality food, thoughtful service, and memorable guest experiences.

Enhancements to the venue will be introduced in phases, with events continuing as scheduled. Additional updates to the space that are planned for spring 2026 will offer new features and experiences while maintaining uninterrupted service.

While the venue’s role is evolving, the legacy of The Cask and Rasher will continue through future food truck appearances and special event activations, ensuring the brand remains part of the local community it has anchored for the past 16 years.

All existing catering and event bookings will continue as scheduled, and Fire Candy Catering & Events is actively accepting new inquiries for both private events in the reinvented space and weddings at venues across the region.
