Windham’s 2nd Annual PlaidurDay – Friday, October 3, 2025  – Break out your best plaid and join the worldwide celebration of Plaidurday—“because through plaid we are all connected by a common thread.” This year’s festivities kick off at 10 AM on the porch of Albergo Allegria Inn with free hot coffee for anyone wearing plaid, plus special offers and discounts at local businesses all day long. Enjoy plaid-themed fun around town, from kid-made art at the Main Street Community Center to a community Plaid Parade down Main Street, capped off with a group photo and a special “Madras Cocktail” at Olivia’s Wine & Spirits. Come strut your checkered stuff, support local shops and eateries, and celebrate the joy of plaid in Windham!

• 3:00 PM – Main Street Community Center, Windham NY presents kid-made plaid art fundraiser (at Main Street Community Center, Windham NY)
• 3:30 PM – Plaid Parade from Main Street Community Center, Windham NY to 5370 Route 23 (0.5 miles /
11-minute walk) there will be bottled water for parade donated by Windham Hardware
• 4:00 PM – Group Photo on the lawn at 5370 Main Street
• 5:00–6:00 PM – 'Madras Cocktail' (an Indian inspired Plaid alcoholic beverage of red and yellow) at Olivia’s Wine & Spirits Windham NY
