Confluence / Convergence Exhibit Opening Reception at the Athens Cultural Center

Join us for the opening reception of Confluence / Convergence. The exhibition brings together works by Bruce Byers, Dan Bridge, Ellen Mahnken, and Nancy Meissner, examining how distinct artistic practices intersect and respond within a shared space.

Though varied in material, process, and form, the artists share a sensitivity to structure, rhythm, and the intelligence of making. Spanning painting, drawing, photography, and textiles, the exhibition highlights moments of alignment and productive tension, where gestures resonate, surfaces encourage slow looking, and individual approaches merge into an ongoing visual dialogue. Embracing difference rather than resolving it, Confluence / Convergence offers an experience shaped by contrast, proximity, and exchange.
