Join us for a closing conversation exploring art\, memory\, institutional power\, and the structures of belonging as explored by the contemporary artist duo DARNstudio and corresponding with their exhibition INVADING SPACES on view at (Creative Legion). About DARNstudio: DARNstudio is the collaborative practice of artists David Anthone and Ron Norsworthy. Together they create works that use familiar materials and visual languages to examine memory\, identity\, place\, and the structures that shape everyday life. Anthone brings a background in architecture\, historic preservation\, and urban planning\; Norsworthy brings decades of work across fine art\, set design\, and product design. Their work has been exhibited in solo and group shows and appeared in major publications and media platforms. About Dr. Katie Fuller: Katie Fuller is a curator and educator whose exhibitions are deeply concerned with righting the historical record on racism in the United States   challenging how racialized differences are projected and how the past informs the present. Her work has been reviewed in ArtForum and Hyperallergic. She holds a PhD in Art Education with a Specialty in Museum Studies from Florida State University and has published scholarly work in leading art education journals. Free and open to the public.
